After the midweek cup defeat to Kendal, Stanley returned to league action in style by beating Blyth 3-2.
Lutel James opened the scoring on eight minutes after a through ball from Mike Marsh.
Andy Proctor made it two on 20 minutes from a Steve Hollis cross.
Just before the break David McMahon pulled a goal back for the visitors.
Within seconds of the restart Paul Mullin gave Stanley a two-goal-advantage when he headed home a Russ Payne's cross.
But the scoring did not stop there and Blyth fought back with another goal from McMahon on 59 minutes.
Accrington held on to take the three points and extend their lead at the top of the table to 14 points.
