Former Barnsley stopper Alcock made his full debut for Stanley in Monday's 2-1 win over Hereford United following Jon Kennedy's injury.
Alcock grabbed his chance with two hands and didn't disappoint as
he put in a solid display between the sticks including one superb single-handed save and the 20 year old is hoping that he can continue to impress throughout Jon's injury and hopefully keep in the team when Kennedy returns.

Danny admitted that this was the worst possible way to get into the starting line-up in regard to Kennedy's injury but that there were no hard feeling between him and the Reds number one.
