Accrington Stanley opened up a ten point lead at the top of the Unibond Premier League with a convincing 3-0 win away victory at Blyth Spartans.
It took only two minutes for the Reds to open the scoring when a Paul Mullin drive from the edge of the box gave the visitors an early lead.
It stayed 1-0 until late into the second half, Rory Prendergast gave Stanley some breathing space on 76 minutes when he hit a 25 yard curling effort past the keeper and into the net.
The game was wrapped up seven minutes later when Andy Proctor headed in at the far post.
Stanley now have one foot in the Conference, all they need to do is win three of their remaining seven games and the title will be heading to the Crown Ground.
