Cav In Action For England - LATEST

In the opening game of the tournament England lost 3-2 but took an early lead which the Stanley captain was involved in. Peter Cavanagh took a quick free kick to send Morcambe's Gary Thomson down the right and his cross was sent home by Steve Guinan. After 15 minutes Cav's involvement in the game was over as he was subbed off due to a knock.  Cav was not in the line up in England's 2-0 defeat to Wales in the 2nd match of the tournament due to injury.
ALSO - the England NAtional GAme XI side have porganised a friendly match with the Iraq senior squad to be held on 27th May at Macclesfield Town.
