And Coleman refused to brand his team unlucky despite seeing two second-half shots strike the woodwork.
He said: "You can't call yourself unlucky if you miss that many chances.
"At some point it is bad finishing. Leeds are a good side so to make so many chances against them, regardless of the team they put out, is an achievement.
"We have to be disappointed that we haven't scored. We've had a bit of luck during our recent good run so we can't complain. We kept going after they scored and we kept making chances."
