Coleman felt Stanley were the better side at Barnet on Saturday but they could not convert their possession into goals and crashed to a 2-0 defeat.
"We played well," he said. "We were head and shoulders the best team on the pitch.
"But I've said it before and it probably won't be the last time I say it, you don't win games on opinions.
"What counts is that they scored two and we didn't."
