Harrogate Railway 1-2 STANLEY

Harrogate railway are four levels below Accrington in the Football Triangle but that didn't show as the home team put up good performance again the Reds.

Starting in attack was youngster Damien Hindle, signed from Burnley last season, turned his marker superbly and rocketed a shot beyond the helpless goalkeeper and into the back of the ned.

The goal seemed to cause the Red's to loose concentration as their lead lasted just just two minutes. So Turkish trialist Nejbet Hussein had failed to keep a clean sheet on his Reds debut but to be fair the shot was thunderous and even the best of 'keepers would have found it hard to keep out.

As the players came out for the second half Danny Alcock took his place in goal and a few minutes in Harrogate had a penalty appeal turned down.

Just five minutes after the penalty appeal Stanley hit the net again. It was Lutel James who used his skill to easily skip past several defenders before slotting home into the bottom corner.

Manager John Coleman came on for the last few minuted but failed to make an impace and the score remained 2-1. Another good win for the Reds.
