HOWSON: Out
Accrington Stanley fans have been angered by the ‘poor business' done by Stanley boss John Coleman regarding Stuart Howson.

The versatile defender, formerly of Blackburn Rovers and Chesterfield, was the first of John Coleman's many signings this summer after his release from Chesterfield at the end of last season.

The started just five games in his Stanley career but never experienced defeat with the Reds but just as Stanley fans were starting to rave about his good performances they received a shock when he was shipped out on loan to Conference North side Droylsden.

He became a firm favourite with the fans there after some dazzling performances and when I met up with one of there fans he told me that he was astonished that we'd let a player of his ability go out on loan.

His loan deal would have expired in the next few days but after John Coleman earlier this week confirmed that he was talking to a Conference North side about him rumours were starting to fly about him and his future and today the Reds fans were shocked and upset that Howson had signed permanently for Droylsden and the current feeling is that they could have fallen out.

Lutel James was about to sign for a Conference North club recently but the deal fell through at the eleventh hour and he remains a transfer-listed Accrington Stanley player.
