Jagielka
After signing in the summer from Sheffield United Steve Jagielka was given the number seven shirt by John Coleman which usually show that good things are to be expected but after the first two month or so of the 2004/2005 season some Stanley fans were questioning his signing.

Steve will be the first to admit that he had not been playing to his full capabilities for the majority of the season so far and after the first few games he soon lost his place in the starting eleven.

This, however has surely inspired Jagielka as since returning to the Starting lineup he has been playing some fantactic football for John Colkeman's men and has now netted his first goals for the club.

He recently admitted to the press that he was

disappointed not to have opened his goalscoring account for the club yet as he likes to hit a few a season and it was ironically just a matter of days before he put Stanley 2-1 up against Gravsend and Northfleet just before half-time. He then carried on his good form with a man-of the-match performace and a goal in front of the Sky Television cameras against Halifax Town.

Lets hope he can continue his good form for the rest of the season.
