Mike Flynn has signed a two-year deal from Blackpool, where he has been a regular so far this season, making eight appearences, seven of which were starts.

John Coleman had been chasing Mike for months and was delighted to finally have him at the club.

Flynn was a favorite with the fans at Bloomfield road and acted as care-taker manager for the Seasiders as the club searched for a new manager following Steve McMahon's depature near the end of last season but now feels he want a new challenge and Accrington Stanley adn the Conference can provide that for him.

Flynn started his Pool career on loan and after his 110% effort and 'never say never' attitude impressed Steve McMahon adn the Blackpool fans alike, he was quickly snapped up from Barnsley.

"I am absolutely delighted, Mike has been a target for a couple of months now and will be a great asset to the side."
