This should be the second time the Reds have played the Shaymen this season but for the Boxing Day clash being postponced just under two hours before teh proposed three o'clock kick off despite the hard work of the Stanley fans.
There is not much chance of Monday's clash being called off as Accrington Stanley and Halifax Town both look to begin 2005 on a high. The match kicks off at the unusual time of 12.05 due to the presence of Sky Sports screening the match and hopefully we can give them lots of goals (providing they are scored by Stanley).
Jon Kennedy is still missing through injury but he is not far off a return to the squad. That means that Paul Crichton will continue in goal after his superb performance against Gravesend where he was unlucky not to be on a winning team.
Chris Butler limped off the Gravesend game but he is expected to be fit to start the 'local derby'. Lee McEvilly should return to the starting lineup after starting the last match on the bench.
I would expect Stanley to linup...
Crichton, Butler, Cavanagh, Flynn, Williams, Prendergast, Craney, Jagielka, Brannan, McEvilly, Mullin
Here are the statistics that go with the match...
