Accrington Stanley have started their promotion push for next season by offering new deals to several key players.
Goalkeeper Danny Alcock who signed from Barnsley last summer has put pen to paper on a one year extension with the club.
Manager John Coleman said: "Danny has done well since he came here and has shown a good attitude."
Meanwhile defender Chris Butler is to be offered a new contract and Coleman gave his thoughts on the left back: "Chris is a young lad still learning his trade but was forced to come into a high profile situation.
“Really we would have tried to introduce him slowly, but due to circumstances he had to be thrust straight in."
Gary Roberts and striker David Brown who were both on non-contract terms, are expected to tie up deals later this summer.
