Last updated : 09 February 2004 By Kev Robinson
Accrington Stanley threw away a 1 goal lead in injury time to lose 3-2 and the Lancashire Evening Telegraph described it in a very appropriate way:
"In the week that Lennox Lewis annouinced his retirement from professional, Accrington Stanley were floored by a very different knock-out match" And in their player ratings they gave 'keeper Jon Kennedy a 6/10 rating and made this quote:
"Made several good saves and blocks but made a couple of howlers too" Man of the match was Lutel James and with a 7 rating his quote reads:
"Missed penalty but redeemed himself by setting up equaliser and scoring Stanleys second"
Top Scorer Paul Mullin "missed a couple of gilt-edged chances-6/10" on a dissapointing day for the Reds.

Stanley Crazy reported Stanley were reported to have been "whacked round the head with a metal bar"
