Recent signing Jerome Fitzgerald was also among the six that have left. The full list of departures are:
Dean Calcutt, Andy Gouck, John Durnin, Gordan Armstrong, Jerome Fitzgerald and Kieran Killackey.
Manager John Coleman admitted that he was sorry to see them go but also warned that there may be more exits to follow.
As current player-coach John Durnin departs Reds chief Coleman decieded to stay with his prefered method of having a player-coach and handed former Burnley skipper Paul Cook the role which the midfielder announced he was very proud with.
The departures are to make way for new signings as Accrington prepare to go full time next season and Colamen has revealed that he will be in talks with a second division player in the next few weeks so expect even more quality to be playing at the Interlink Express stadium next season.
