Stanley. A Two Man Team?

Looking at the list of Accrington Stanley top scorers, I don't seem to see a huge amount of goals scored from midfield players, with only Rory Prendergast and the the now-released, Andy Gouck hiktting the net frequently. With Paul Mullin Lutel James and John Durnin scoring 46 goals between them, only 22 came from lower down the field.

Andy Gouck, who only made 24 starts all last season scored an impressive six goals (including his wonderstrike against Huddersfield) for only playing around half the games and given more chances he scould have got into double fugures.

So, Gouck excluded, the midfield was not as threatening as it should be, lets hope these new signings can score a few.
