Accrington Stanley have had a good partnership with Oswaldtwistle Mills and this new deal is the largest in Stanley's history and Retail Director Boyd Hargreaves had this to say:
"Oswaldtwistle Mills has had a long-standing relationship with Accrington Stanley. We already provide income for the football club with a merchandising arrangement that has been running successfully for the past two years, and we have now increased our investment.”
Stanley chairman, Eric Whally, had this to say about this record sponsorship:
“I am delighted to welcome Oswaldtwistle Mills on board. There is a great synergy between the two businesses, and both are well known Lancashire attractions with strong family appeal. It is an exciting time for the Club and we hope that Accrington Stanley will benefit through increased awareness from the 1.2m annual visitors to Ossy Mills.”
