Ian Craney has signed a two-year deal with Accrington Stanley as John Coleman continues to add to his squad ready for the switch to full time in just over a weeks time.

Craney is Coleman's fifth signing of the summer and it has been by far the most complicated.

Stanley had two offers rejected before their third bid was accepted. Ian agreed to join almost immediately but when the transfer was set to be completed his current club, Altrincham, were charging Stanley more than they believed they had earlier agreed to pay.

But Craney has signed now and ACCYSTAN.co.uk wishes him all the best for the coming campaign.
Joining Ian will be former Preston North End left winger Paul Carvill.  The 19 year year old made several appearences for the Lilywhites reserve team last season and is very pacey.
