TV Cameras To Watch Reds Again

Last season was 1-1
Accrington Stanley beat Hereford United at home earlier in the season with an early Paul Mullin strike in the first minute and a late goal securing the Reds a 2-1 win. That was Accrington's last appearance on Sky Sports but we had quite a few televised game last season. Probably the most memorable of those matches was a home FA Cup tie against Huddersfield Town where the Reds' superb performance was capped off by an unstoppable Andy Gouck strike in injury time just seconds after the visitors' second choice goalkeeper had come onto the field in match that was live on BBC1.

This time we are on Sky and against a much lower profile club in the form on Halifax Town. The away fixture has been moved to accommodate the television cameras and will now be played on Monday 3rd January but due to that date being a holiday, there will be a 12:05pm kick off.

Last season's fixture away to Halifax finished with a 1-1 draw thanks to a powerful 20 yard goal from, once again, Andy Gouck. The Reds will be hoping to get a victory this time around though.
