Positive Coleman looks forward to new season

Accrington boss John Coleman is in confident mood ahead of the new season which begins with the visit of Aldershot on August 7. Stanley's squad is starting to take shape and they may look to bring in a few more players, either on permanent deals or on loan. Coleman's team flirted with promotion last season and he knows how tough the challenge his side faces of the next nine months will be. He said: "We're changing our system slightly because we've lost so many forwards. Hopefully I'll bring one, maybe two forwards in before the season starts and possibly another central defender. "Full credit to the players who stayed, I think they realised we underachieved a bit towards the end of last season. I think one or two of them want to prove the ones who left wrong."
