In recent seasons the award to awarded to the manager whose team won most points during the month. This season, though, has seen the competition become much more fairer with a panel decieding on the winner.
For January the panel chose Crawley Town gaffer Francis Vones as the manger that has done the most impressive jon during last month.
Vines was fifth in the points-based system but the panel made the decicion that last season's Southern League Manager-Of-The-Year made the biggest impression on the League throughout the month. On the previously used points system Northwich's Steve Burr would have come out on top.
Crawley won three of their first five games of 2005, drew one and lost one.
