Stanley maintained their 11 points lead at the top of the table thanks to an easy victory over Nottinghamshire outfit Worksop Town.

The Reds opened the scoring on 16 minutes through Lutel James but the lead was short lived as Andy Todd equalised with a penalty on 20 minutes.

James got his second of the game and ensured Accrington went in leading at the interval when Town gave away a penalty seven minutes from the break. He stepped up for his 21st goal of the campaign and his fifth in four games.

After a bright opening to the second half Paul Mullin gave the Reds a two-goal-cushion on 50 minutes when he had only the keeper to beat and slotted home.

Five minutes later, he too bagged a brace to ensure the three points and seven wins in a row for the Conference hopefuls.
